We are Voluntary Social Group of Professionals and trained Young Social Workers. We people are in Action

based on non- profit, non- political grass root development method with promoting and strengthening

community through YOUTH and for them. Development this regard inclusive of the community Organization

process. It includes the Phenomena like Change, Movement and Growth as we feels to increase felt needs at a

particular time and place. So people based approach about the objectives for the Development plans on the basis

of the felt needs of the people.

The changing socio- economic situation in the society has always provided a challenge to the non-government

voluntary sector, keeping in view these changes the society continued to carry out its responsibilities of

strengthening voluntary action for social up upliftment and rural development during the year 1986-2008. With

sincere efforts from its staff and support from a number of collaborating agencies NGO and local people of the

society incited a variety of activities to its objectives targets.

Brief History of the Organization

We have been working for people as rural tribes, slums, dwellers, socially and economically backward

poor landless agricultural laborer along with tribal women in tehsil Ladpura, Deegod, Pipalda,

Ramganjmandi of Kota Dist, since last twenty three years through YOUTH COMMUNITY ACTION

FOR DEVELOPMENT with a small batch of dedicated workers, we have done work mainly on social

awareness building through legal education, health education community development activities etc.

for poor needy people, poor landless women weaker section of the society. We have also organized

to the poor peoples of the society.

The activities of the society were dispensed in the form of systematic programming. The action

programs undertaken by the society their respective guiding principals and objectives were as our

action plan. Society involved in rural Youth Training Program of poor peoples, Youth Organization

social awareness, better understanding, participation, and education include all type of formal and

EDUCATION AMONG LABORS WOMEN’S OF RURAL AREA

The program has plan for promotion socio- economic standard, self-employment adult education with very

selective rural area of Kota dist. Herewith include the very poor 27 village of tehsil Ladpura, Piplda, Deegod

Ramgajmandi. Project decided to feel the problems of landless labors class community who’s were actually as

poor as illiterate and was socially backward as unable to standup by daily wages short of income, what they

are getting. The surrounding resource was not enough to survive them with their situation with the same

time. So far we have prepare some need based projects to make standup them from the grass root.

OBJECTIVES AIMS

The programs basic objectives aims were at raising the status of women in the family and the

society by generating and promoting awareness and skills among women in the lower economic and

social status.

STRATEGY

Throughout the year activities with in the component of the program were carried out 27 centers located in

each one village situation need. The range of activities at these centers included provision of ADULT

EDUCATION VOCATIONAL TRAINING, NON FORMAL COUNSALLING AND ORGANISATION OF

AWARENESS PROGRAM for poor women in matters relating to raise status of women and generation of

employment income.

The vocational training imparted as a part of the program aided in the generation of Employment and Income

for a significant number.

ACTIVITIES

People of this area have confidence on us, and they will organize to them selves for any action, which will be for

their development. They have also make up their mind against Exploitation. Since last sixteen years, we have

done work for their All Round Development through walking, talking, meeting community Activities etc.

To interconnecting mass population with program we includes pre- primary education at the Balwadis motivated

many children to pursue primary education at schools and the Day-Care services generated hygienic sense

among the children. The Rural component of the program included development actions for women and children

at Centers located in 27 villages of four tehsils of KOTA Districts.

RESULTS

Activities at the Rural centers benefited a large number of women and children as well as primary education

and eight BAL Kendra’s attracted over 768 children, while non formal education was received by 815 women and

vocational training by 634 women. As a result of implementation of the program adopted by us the following

results were achieved as stated.

The women started manufacturing Dari, Bandage, Cotton Sari, Earthen Pots, Mattresses and Pattal- Dona etc.

in the form of cottage industries. They became self sufficient and income was generated “Between” 1400 to

2000 per month by an individual woman.

OPPORTUNUITY

We have been working in twenty-seven village of KOTA fifteen slums of the city particularly for poor

landless agricultural migrated laborers, tribal peoples women groups. These peoples are so innocent,

illiterate and ignorant regarding their any Govt. facilities or their any rights. The rich and money Landers of

this area in each step exploit them. For this we decided to start our work in this area for their socio-economic

development. Less time availability with target group because of that they was a daily labor with agriculture

and mines. There were less sources of income and they have not any type of hand skill techniques except

hard working themselves.

THRETENS

There were many exploiters like Jagirdars, Landlords, and Money Landers etc. They make nuisance

disturbances create problems due to their vested interest. They want to keep with them.

HOW DID WE ENSURE THE PARTICIPATION OF THE COMMUNITY

To create interest among target women we were conducted organise many interesting game like Matka Run,

Spoon Lemon Running, Musical Chair and jalebi Race etc. These activities increased their motivation. It was

made compulsory for each woman to bring one more women with her in the training program.

PROBLEMS

Non- availability of target group in the daytime because they were daily labour.

They were prejdious have loaded by long back old tradition.

SOLUTIONS

To solve the first problem the timing of training and awareness camp were kept in the evening when they back

from their daily routine. Second problem by continuous intervention like meeting entertainment program to

motivate them.

63 percent women become independent and were aware for their benefits with rights.

HORIZON FOR POOR CHILDREN’S NEED

In present scenario the rajasthan growing as a global education for Pre Engineering (IIT-JEE/AIEEE/RPET) Pre Medical

(RPMT/AIPMT) but the poor children are not able to get such as high costing education likewise thereafter they are out of reach to

approach this fight of Pre Engineering Pre Medical either they may be more Genius than others. It is painful hard luck due to

having economically backward condition and situation in front of the rural base society. We people are already involved in the field

of Specific Education with our expert group of

qualified professional with large of experience of 10 years and more.
