For Sustainable Development in Rural Area

41) To undertake programs and activities for rural reconstruction and urban

slums rehabilitations and for the improvement of the quality of life at all

levels.

42) To establish manage or collaborate in establishing and managing

educational institutions and to raise funds generally for such proposes and

especially for the socially, economically backward or physically

handicapped.

43) To raise and receive funds, donations, subscriptions or deposits to invest

or donate for the purpose of the objects of the society.

44) To promote aid, guide, organize, plan, undertake, develop, maintain and

coordinate projects, schemes, aimed at all round development, creation of

employment, opportunities, promotions of self-reliance, generation of

awareness, organization and improvement in the quality of life of the

people in the rural areas in general and of the economically and socially

backward, weaker section, land less labor, poor needy people, physically

handicap and wife less persons section.

45) To assist and promote programs aimed at conservation of environment

and natural resources.

46) To strengthen existing institution of research and development or set up

institution on matters of purely or largely rural interest.

47) To conduct training programs conferences, lectures and seminars on rural

development activities of particulars interest to youth and women with an

accent on improved technologies appropriate to their role in rural

development.

48) To carry out research studies, surveys, evaluation etc. on development

activities and appropriate technology in rural areas.

49) To guide and assist as well as rural communities in the formulation of

integrated development plans of selected undeveloped areas on the basis

of development of local resources and local skills.

50) To promote action in rural communities in organizing the implementation

of such plan mainly through the efforts of the people themselves based

on:

i) Village assemblies, democratic discussion and functioning and mutual

help, collective endeavor cooperative enterprise lending to organized

social action.

ii) Development of the leadership potential of the village people, especially

the village youth, mainly by assortment of specific collective tasks to

specific

iii) Education of the leaders, the youth and others in scientific methods

and appropriate technologies in the field of irrigation, land development,

agriculture, horticulture, grassland farming, animal husbandry, pisciulture

village and small industry etc.

51) To bring the rural communities in close contact with state and regional

Institutions like agricultural and veterinary colleges, faculty of economics,

geography and anthropology, N.S.S., NCC Groups etc.

52) To organize and conduct rural youth training camps.

53) To help youth acquire knowledge & skills with social consiquencencess &

responsibility.

54) To initiate and organize need based Rural Development Programs for Poor

People.

55) To organize poor people to increase income.

56) To involve health care system accessible to rural and weaker section of

the community by providing and package of curative preventive &

promote health services.

57) To create awareness about health and other socio-economic, welfare

programs among the community through different instructional media’s

primary and vocational oriented education to children, need based non-

formal education to adults and by formation of clubs and committees.

58) To build up and improve sanitary conditions, resources of safe portable

water in order to achieve concept of environmental health.

59) To organize suitable training programs for auxiliaries drawn from

Government, non Government and other institutions for health and health

related activities and other activities for the social-economic welfare of the

community.

60) To instigate programs for the up-liftmen of nutritional status of

community by nutrition education and demonstrations.

61) To devise methods and resources to develop traditional and semiskilled

technocrats into viable professionals and generation of self-employment

and implement rural oriented intermediate and appropriate technology

and advancement of rural based small scale and cottage industries.

62) To provide the agriculture extension services and advancement.

63) To undertake relief words during natural calamity and disasters.

64) To Conduct survey and research to involve a rational curriculum for

integrated rural to make them more Effective for meaningful

development.

65) To instigate programs and methods to become self supporting by

generating enough income through various services to the community on

non profitable basis.

66) To carry out scientific research that will further the cause of effective rural

development systems. This would include the appropriate technologies

aimed the bettering the life of rural peoples, especially the poorest

amongst them.

67) To render technical, financial, administrative and other necessary

assistance to the rural population in the field of medicine, health hygiene

and nutrition and development thereon.

68) To improve rural medical relief and research, public health hygiene and

nutrition and development thereon.

69) To help women by providing technical and financial assistance to augment

their families income.

70) To conduct training & educational program for Disable People, to improve

their hand skill and to make them self sufficient for their overall

Development.

IV. No portion of the income and property of Society shall be paid, transferred

directly or indirectly by way of dividend, bonus or otherwise howsoever by ways

of profit, to the persons claiming through them or anyone of them, provided that

nothing herein contained shall prevent the payment in good faith

honorarium/fee to any member thereof or any other person in return for any

service rendered to the Society or for travelling allowance, halting or other
